Welcome to the new tennis season:

Thanks to all who attended the Clubs AGM and the Awards Presentation last November.

This year we welcome two new Committee Members; Jan Roser & Jo Slaughter

Actually, Jo has stepped into the Treasurer’s job, following last years AGM.

Existing Members, if you want to save money on this year’s fee and by doing so also help the Club,

please read subscription sheet carefully.

Wednesday Evening Club Sessions: to start 14^th April - Club balls will be provided.

Junior Evenings for under 15’s to start Mon 10^th May.

Closed Tournaments:

Due to the World Cup Football, the Doubles Comp. will be played before the Clubs Singles Comp.

Please see Diary of Events sheet for all starting dates and dates of all Finals of all Competition events.

Play Tennis 2010 to promote and encourage Tennis Club Membership at all ages. Fun Sessions for all ages.

Club courts will be made available to non-members of all ages and standards in an effort to raise Club Membership.

A generous discount is available to new members on their first year’s membership.

Coaching Sessions Single or group coaching available (Juniors/Youths/Seniors)

Members List This will be compiled and put on display in caravan. Any Member who wishes not to have their home

telephone number included on this list, please inform Secretary on re-joining.

Guests Members are reminded they are responsible for their guests’ fee being paid to the Club, they are required to have

the necessary money with them for payment and for insurance purposes must sign their guests into the Visitors Book before playing.

Club Sessions Wednesday evenings from April 14^th – Sept 15^th. Saturday afternoons and Sunday mornings throughout

the year social tennis is also available to all members. A great way to meet others and improve your tennis standard, keep fit and have a bit of fun.

Wimbledon Tickets The Members Only Ballot will be in May and only fully paid-up Club Members and current British Tennis Members will be entered

Tennis Balls are bought in bulk by the club and are available at discounted prices. Contact Bob for availability and prices.

American Doubles Tournament Saturdays 8^th May & 17^th July 1.30pm prompt start - Tennis balls provided - Entry cost £1.50

Those wishing to play in this event please book your place early as event may be limited to 12 persons

Please be prepared, in fairness to all participants, to stay till the end so as to complete all games

Return of Keys If you are not re-joining the Tennis Club please, out of courtesy, return the keys in early April and your key

money will be returned to you.

Cups/Trophies All Cups, shields etc. won this year must be returned to Club Secretary, for engraving, by 24th September
